Salam to all sisters, yah we know that we have not been keeping up with our job here. My apology then ^^. We hope you are doing well with your routine and we would like to thank our top visitors from the USA, Malaysia, UK, and UAE (ofcourse UAE is the best when it comes to fashion scene ^^)

To all sisters and brothers we are here this time to remind you that you have to be careful in choosing the proper way to be fashionable. Some designs today can be improper and immodest due to some silly decorations we put on the attire. Yes, we talk about abayah. It is known to be the most modest and proper attire for Muslima and we have to always adhere to the right way of wearing it. Do we realize that the attire can cover you modestly but yet you may appear immodest and the reason could be the "killer decoration" that we put on the attire.

Well, let's get a better picture of this then :)

i love the shaylah they're sooooo cute, but the printed decorations are not proper. i'd buy their shaylah though ^^

i'm not against it, but i think it is more suitable for children

We personally think that these designs may not be suitable to be worn in public. Even if you love them you may consider buying something worth your dignity :). Some people tend to follow without having their rational thoughts about it as they are tied with the society's consensus. Our advice well....you must know yourself before you decide on what to buy and what to wear. Indeed, I do not go against these designers and it is up to all of you to judge them. You may choose to like or dislike them. Till then take care :)

I love her style and white is absolutely gorgeous, imagine with the right choice of fabric and pattern you can actually sew your version of Milla's choice of caftan ^^, and for us Muslimahs, YES I MEAN US .. we can wear such attires with proper inner garments since white might be see-through...and...not to forget, proper shaylah to cover our hair and bosoms enshallah XD

Well...Uhmm..I really think that JLo's caftan collection is really nice but as Muslimahs we really need to adapt only the pattern and fabrics then we've to make a more modest ones, we'll transform these caftans to look more modest as we find that JLo's choice are rather sexy and tight XD

Awww Mary, that's not so bad at all, you look sooooo sweet.

It's pretty but I must say the fabric pattern is kinda too heavy for me....

So, sisters what are you waiting for?? go and grab some nice fabrics and work on your own nice jalabiyas too XD and yeah but you must be aware of the design because some designs displayed above may not be utterly modest and NEVER FORGET YOUR HEJAB !!!! LOVING THE KHALEEJY STYLE : THE PROPERLY ISLAMIC WAY

Salam 3lykom brothers and sisters, we were thinking of coming out with this idea after we've been reading blogs about hejabies and a lot of them are among the revert sisters who disclosed that they were confused about the proper hejab that they are supposed to wear comparing to the hejab that born Muslim sisters wear. Some commented about how confused they are when they look at the khaleejy style O_o well I know what they actually mean. As born Muslim sisters, we feel disappointed and embarassed by such remarks, we feel devastated about how the trends and thinking of some muslima today who have taken hijab for granted till the West are labelling them as Mujahababes !!! Yet we believe that all of us are trying to be better muslima, and following the commandment of Quraan and Sunna in wearing the hejab.

We were sooooo angry with this new label or stereotyped assumption people make about hejab. Perhaps it is the fashion industry which should be blamed?? Well, fashion industry hires female models and they could be non-Muslims and that is why it is not a wonder why they show their hair though, yah some might say: still it is a very negative influence to all hejabies. A lot of revert to Islam sisters seem to love the Khaleejy style and here we want to share with you the images of not Islamic Khaleejy style hejaby and the Islamic Khaleejy style for you to adopt and adapt with your style. To be real, not all khaleejy girls are wearing improper hejab (showing their hair) and there is still a lot of Khaleejy girls who wear hejab properly mashallah. So let's look and learn from the images.

Salam brothers and sisters, I really want to share with you this time about this beauty tip which I may consider mashallah amazing. We tried it many times and alhamdulellah it really work ^^.
Well, ever face the moment when you have to stay for long hours under the hot sun? or you have to walk under the hot sun just because you missed the bus? or even forget to apply your sunblock at the beach?? loooool ^^ Then, your skin will turn dull and dark. We are sure you hate that very much as we have experienced the same thing. Yah we are talking about the darkened skin by the sun.

How to treat this??
With Milk-Tomato Facial Mask

All you need is:

A quarter cut of tomato
Half teaspoon of powder milk

Direction:
- Mix the tomato with the powder milk (especially the juicy part with the seeds).
- Apply the mixture on your cleansed and towel dried face.
- Leave it for around 15 minutes.
-Wash your face until the mixture is removed well from your face.
(Note: You can even wash it with a little bit of your facial wash if you want to apply make-up or moisturiser after you apply this facial mask)

Results:
You will see the instant brightness it brings to your skin enshallah ^^

I like how the elements of the East and West are merged and blended thus creating a subtle yet elegant designs. It truly brings the Islamic identity in you.

Abayas are given the Western touch from the choices of the colours by Roxana Mariam

The formal and elegant designs suit the Muslima at the workplace and even going for shopping.

Betty Benafe and Ameera Aamer.

I simply love Ameera Aamer's designs, she managed to brings out the Khaleejy element in her abayas. My favourite will be the second pic which the design is more Bedouin-like. ^^

I really love the choice of colours by Puan Nor Aini. The combination of purple and pastel and earthy colours keep us looking modest yet fashionable.

The designs focused on giving a modern touch to the traditional apparels. Tell me what do you think about them??

The modest attire from Malaysia (left) what the Malaysian called as Baju Kedah, is truly elegant, trendy, and modest . Middle - Melinda Looi's 3abaya is a total haute couture.

Malaysian women traditional attire Baju Kurung is given the royal touch.

I would rate Mr Jamal Taslaq Palastine 5 stars for this very alluring attire.

Surprisingly, I prefer the designs from Islamic Fashion Festival 2007 as compared to the ones in 2009 O_o..... What do you think?? Let's see what the Dubai Fashion Week has in store --->

DUBAI FASHION WEEK 2009/2010

Malaysia blends a lot of colours to suit its traditional female attire Baju Kurung (which is often seen to be colourful). Dubai has something else to offer you indeed.

Amal and Raghda's collection are simply the best, maintaining the looseness of the 3abayas ^^ is utterly a must.

I definitely love the designs but the see-through arms should be covered.

I love the colour gold ^^

At a glance this jalabiya will definitely stick your eyes on it! As a lady it is something you want to have, but as a Muslima, well it's rather too much. (Dh500,000 - pure gold)

So we were all bored with the old and boring layout theme for our blog, yah we have tried something new from Artisteer....unfortunately we only managed to get the standard trial version for this software (wish iit's available for free). Well you can actually create wonderful looking layouts for your websites or blogs without having the background knowledge of CSS, XML, or HTML (which is soooo me). ^^ Since it is a trial version you can actually see the Artisteer TRIAL watermark on our layout design...LOOOOL no problem, no?? Despite looking a bit unpretty with the watermark, the wonderful look of our model Nour Alkassim is still mesmerizing mashallah. Ladies and gentlemen, excuse the watermark okay ^^

Salam sisters, this post is dedicated to all the Muslim sisters who have doubts of whether it is permissible for us Muslim women to remove the hair on our hand, legs, and other parts of our body. We have selected a few explanation taken from http://www.islamonline.net/

Question	As-Salam-o-alaikam. Is it permissible to do the threading of upper lips, as hair of that area are quiet noticeable and heavy, or does it come under the ruling of eyebrows?
Answer	Wa `alaykum As-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. First of all, we would like to stress that all means to remove unwanted hair from the woman’s body are permissible provided that the use of such means doesn’t cause harm to the woman’s body. Muslim scholars stated that there is nothing wrong with women removing hair from their upper lips, thighs, legs and arms. This is not included in the category of plucking the eyebrows which is forbidden in Islam. All in all, the Muslim woman is to fear Allah and to avoid any act that may attract the attention of non-maharem men to her. The woman is fully permitted to beautify herself for her husband but she is not allowed to uncover her beauty beyond that.

Question	Dear scholar, I posted my question in the beginning of your last session but I think due to lack of time you could not answer my question. Please answer it today. 1. A saloon which is operated solely by women where different types of services to women like hair dressing, eyebrow plucking, sauna, facials, peeling, highlighting, coloring, body hair removal etc are provided. The business is owned by a Muslim. Shall it be considered permissible according to the Shari`ah? 2. As I have read that there are Nafs ammarah and nafsi mutma’innah within every soul. Now, if one has an issue and he thinks (in his subconscious mind) of a negative solution to that issue and immediately something from within tells him, NO, you should take the other path which is halal or permitted by Allah and yet immediately. A third instinct differing from both of these says, hold on though you should follow the permitted path yet there is a better solution to follow which is even more recommended and just. Please explain to me what is this third instinct? I sometimes wonder!
Answer	In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. To have this saloon for sisters the following conditions must be fulfilled: 1. Not to be mixed. Women should be in a separate closed area where men cannot see. 2. To avoid plucking eyebrows. Facial and hair removal is Ok. 3. To avoid any exposure of private parts for the sake of doing something that is not considered Islamically necessary. Well, this is our first entry for our blog. So, let's begin with the introduction. We are here to promote the one thing that every woman is waiting for. We know the most annoying problem that can really irritate you from face to toe, well you know what I mean....I mean THE UNWANTED HAIR!!!!! You may be deceived by some hair removal products which offer you nothing but promises. Some products may work but they don't last for long and can cause skin irritations too, ooops honestly it's painful.

Our hair-removal product is natural, chemical-free, in other words, it is totally safe to use. Plus, it will take a month for your hair to grow again, and when it grows, the hair will grow less than before.
